WHAT’S ON THE BLOCK

Founder release SMS consent

This page documents the opt-in procedure for the private founder release-review SMS workflow operated by WHAT’S ON THE BLOCK. The only intended recipient is Zac, the founder and authorized owner of WHAT’S ON THE BLOCK.

Purpose and frequency

Exact verbal consent script

Operator:

“Zac, WHAT’S ON THE BLOCK would like to send SMS messages to the mobile number you provided for the WHAT’S ON THE BLOCK — FOUNDER RELEASE HANDOFF program. For each release handoff you specifically request, you will receive exactly two transactional text messages. The first contains Preview context, test focus, and a single-use approval command. The second contains only the exact review URL. There is no recurring schedule and no marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email zac@whatsontheblock.com. Consent is not a condition of purchase. This SMS consent permits delivery only and does not itself approve a release. Do you agree to receive these messages?”

Required affirmative response:

“Yes, I agree to receive the WHAT’S ON THE BLOCK founder release-handoff messages as described.”

Operator response:

“Thank you. I have recorded your verbal consent for the WHAT’S ON THE BLOCK — FOUNDER RELEASE HANDOFF SMS program. No text message will be sent until a release handoff you specifically requested is ready. You may withdraw consent before a handoff or reply STOP after messaging is active.”

If Zac does not give the exact affirmative response, the operator records CONSENT_NOT_GRANTED and sends nothing. Silence or ambiguous language is not consent.
